Salvador G. García

Salvador G. García received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees (with extraordinary award) in physics from the University of Granada, Granada, Spain, in 1989 and 1994, respectively.

He is Full Professor at the Department of Electromagnetism and Matter Physics, University of Granada. He has published over 90 refereed journal articles and book chapters and leaded several national and international projects. His current research interests include computational electromagnetics, electromagnetic compatibility, RCS and antenna design.

Luis D. Angulo

Luis D. Angulo works as associated professor in the Department of Electromagnetics and State Matter Physics, at the University of Granada (Spain). He graduated in Physics in 2007 and obtained his PhD in 2014 with a dissertation title Time Domain Discontinuous Galerkin for Maxwell’s Equations. In 2015 he also graduated in Electronics Engineering.

During his career has worked mostly in time domain numerical methods applied to electromagnetism, especially discontinuous Galerkin time domain (DGTD) and finite differences in time domain (FDTD). He is one of the main developers of Semba, a software tool designed to perform time domain simulations specifically tailored for electromagnetic compatibility problems. Others of his research interest include the development of meshers suitable to be used with state-of-the-art numerical solvers.

Jose Diaz

Jose Diaz is a business entrepreneur, specialised in Software development and Data processing. He graduated from University of London in 2013 and obtained his MSc in Computer Science. Jose has a broad knowledge of IT and Business topics, and holds several industry certifications including SCRUM Master, ITILv3, PRINCE2 and Symfony 5.

Jose is also the founder of three other startup companies: Aircury, Smartgrade and Carousel Learning.

Amelia Rubio Bretones

M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics (with extraordinary award) from the University of Granada, Spain, in 1984 and 1988, respectively. Full Professor at the Department of Electromagnetism and Matter Physics, University of Granada since 2000, currently teaching Electromagnetism and Electrodynamics.

Her research focus mainly on the numerical analysis of radiation and propagation of electromagnetic waves with applications in areas such as antenna design, radar, electromagnetic compatibility, biological effects of electromagnetic fields, etc. She has developed and coordinated numerous research projects financed by Spain national R&D plan, Junta de Andalucía (Spain) or foreign organizations. Part of her research has been carried out in foreign universities such as the Technological Universities of Delft and Eindhoven (The Netherlands), and the Pennsylvania State University (United States where she has made several long-term research stays. She received the "Young Scientists" award from the International Union of Radio Science in 1993 and 1995 and was awarded the SUMMA Foundation research grant (Unite State) in 1997.

She is author of numerous papers published in prestigious peer reviewed international magazines and conferences.

Rafael Gómez Martín

Ph.D. degrees (extraordinary award) in physics from the University of Granada (Spain) in 1974. Head of the Electromagnetic Group at Granada University (Spain) from 1985- 2001. Emeritus Professor at the Department of Electromagnetism and Matter Physics since 2016.

He has coordinated numerous research projects in the field of applied electromagnetic funded by many national and international agencies and by industry. His research interest include electromagnetic wave propagation and radiation, ground penetrating radar, antennas, electromagnetic compatibility, numerical techniques for electromagnetic problems and other topics in electromagnetic wave theory.

He is author of two books and numerous scientific articles published in peer reviewed international journals.
